Charlie Sheen is the stage name of American actor Carlos Irwin Estévez who was born in New York City on born September 3, 1965, the youngest son of actor Martin Sheen and artist Janet Templeton.

Sheen attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California, and was a standout pitcher and shortstop for the baseball team.

Sheen’s film career began in 1983 when he was cast as Ron in Grizzly II: The Predator, a sequel to the 1976 low-budget horror film Grizzly, which was not released until 2020.

In 1984, he co-starred in the Cold War teen drama Red Dawn with Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, and Jennifer Grey.
